AMAZINGLY AWESOME

Absolutely AMAZING time tonight at the Avett Brothers show… They are truly THE MOST FUN show to go see.

And to me, Summer has now officially started.  Bring on the good times… good tunes and good people.

More weekends like this

It has been an absolutely, amazingly BEAUTIFUL weekend here! Sunny and hot with no humidity.

It has been an absolutely, unbelievably busy weekend. Flowers planted and car washed, sparkling clean.

It has been an absolutely, incredibly fun weekend that I have been looking forward to for months. Relay for Life bowling fundraiser, followed by good tunes in the sun with my lil bro at the Avett Brothers concert tonight.

They’re hard to come by, I tell ya, but I could absolutely, most definitely and assuredly use more weekends just like this one.

Sunshiny moments for me

Throughout the hecticness that has been my week so far (yes I realize it is only Tuesday) I’ve encountered a few sunshiny moments which have really brightened my days. Nothing spectacular, just a couple little things that have brought a smile to my face in the midst of stress and sleepiness.

*checking my email to find several heart warming messages from one of my oldest and dearest friends; one which I’ve not seen in at least 8 years. Never having had a falling out our losing touch is attributed to the fact that life just has a tendedency of getting in the way and going much too fast. So needless to say I was surely a happy girl upon seeing these messages.

And then there’s this….

Seriously?!!! How can this little face not bring me to smiles? Oh my sweet nephew, how I adore you! This face is totally responsible for bringing me a sunshiny moment.

It’s the little things that truly make me thankful. We all need a reminder now and again. These were mine!

remain calm and collected; put up a fight

adore the beginning; fathom the end

keep enemies close; lose touch with friends

 

nightmares linger, wishing dreams to stay

live to dream, dream to play

 

Through every second, the search continues … the right moments; the right choices, the right people, the right things.

 

Instead I’ll just treasure each moment of everyday

Finding the right fit me.
