Random act of kindness

Ever been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of an act of kindness?

It is a pretty cool thing, let me tell ya.

Yesterday I received a card in the mail… no return address, no signature.

Enclosed in the envelope was a gift card for a local grocery store and only two words inside…

love you.

Whomever was so kind as to send me this anonymous love holds a special place in my heart…  whether you are family, friend or both… a friend of a friend, a church member or a complete random… your act of kindness brought tears to my eyes and happiness in my heart.

Happiness not for the gift card contained inside, but for the notion that there are truly good people in the world… even more so that I am blessed by having truly good people in my life.

For nothing other than that, I am thankful.

So to whomever sent this anonymous love my way…
